Dr. Cruz’s PUNGSOD qualifies for the 29th National Book Award

Dean Isidoro M. Cruz's Pungsod Damming the Nation:  Region/Nation and the Global Order in Contemporary West Visayan Literature, qualifies in the Literary Criticism/Literary History category of the 29th National Book Award. The said award giving body is organized by the National Book Development Board and the Manila Critics Circle. Announcement of winners will be held on November 13 at the Metropolitan Museum of Manila.
